There are faery festivals throughout the UK during the summer and we like to visit the one in Llangollen, North Wales. Llangollen Faery Festival is a great day out for the family. The girls like to dress up as do lots of children and adults.
There are activities to keep the kids entertained such as crafts and face painting.
The circus skills area is great fun for kids to try different activities and have a play.
We have seen a variety of crafts over the years including making your own fairy wings which has to be my favourite.
Children (and adults) can be entertained with story telling. 2016 saw a great story telling session which included a spectacular fire act.
The live stage has music to add to the ambiance throughout the day and if the mood takes you just sit back and listen or grab your dancing feet to make some shapes and feel the music.
We’ve always been lucky with the weather when we have attended the Llangollen Faery Festival but rest assured, the music will move indoors should it get too wet for dancing!
The Llangollen Faery Festival has a great market.
There is a vast array of stalls selling crafts, gifts, clothes, food and more. You can also expect to find card readers, psychics and healers there too.
The main pavilion has lots of stalls and many can also be found around the pavilion outside.
So much is so beautiful as you walk round the Faery Festival.
There are many handmade fairy crafts, retail items and stalls to name but a few:
• Scrumptious cakes and cookies.
• Detailed carvings.
• Aromatic soaps.
• Artistic pictures.
• Vegan food.
• Fairy doors and houses.
• Boho hippy clothes and accessories.
• Flower head dresses.
• Dream catchers.
• Full restaurant.
There is a Grand Faery Ball on the Saturday evening with live music, a bar and a further opportunity for you to dress up in your finest Fairy attire.
The Legendary Llangollen Faery Festival is held at Llangollens Pavilion LL20 8SW.
