This week we went on a great Easter egg hunt with lots of families and pretty much took over a park with picnics, Easter craft and of course the egg hunt.  Fortunately the day was dry with some great sunshine poking through the clouds every now and then.

I was also excited to finally make a reading den for the kids.  If you want to make your own play tent teepee den then have a look at the blog post How To Make A Teepee Tent Den

A quiet reading den or fun play area, either way I love our teepee!

We enjoyed dying eggs with food colouring and decorating gingerbread flowers during the run up to Easter.  If you fancy dying eggs to have a look at my blog post How To Dye Easter Eggs Using Food Colouring here.

For Easter Sunday we also had Easter crafts, another egg hunt and it took the kids a while to find their big eggs that I had hidden in the teepee tied to the top!
