SUNDAY SNIPPETS – OCTOBER

0

October has been our second month into the term for homeschooling.  The weather has got colder but it hasn’t stopped us going out to playgrounds and parks regularly.

This month saw our 16th wedding anniversary too.  We spent the day in Abersoch with a picnic afternoon tea style complete with scones, jam and cream.  It was colder and greyer than last year but mostly dry and we were grateful for our flask of hot chocolate on the beach.

We had a great trip out to Angelsey for a picnic and a home ed meet up.  I thought I’d take the kids to Llanfair pg but didn’t realise the station would be shut, or that I’d take a jacket that was far too big for Adam!

We also did plenty of Autumn crafts and enjoyed collecting leaves and sticks while out and about.  Workshops and zoo trips started again this month with our home ed friends and families which we always enjoy.  There was rockclimbing & we were also lucky to spot a peacock in the countryside too.

We had great fun at a home ed halloween party, followed by trick and treating with friends and a halloween party of our own.

Overall this month has been really busy with the kids working hard and also plenty of social meet ups as well as family time.
