This is something I have been meaning to do for ages. Yesterday I finally started it. I was going to do the 30 day plank challenge but after a quick internet search I found the 30 day squat and plank challenge which seamed more fun.
What prompted me to start is Abi who is now 11 when she said she was struggling to hold a pike in gymnastics so I suggested some strengthening exercises such as the plank.
I sourced my 30 day squat and plank challenge from yeahwetrain.comPRINTABLE 30 DAY SQUAT AND PLANK CHALLENGE
It’s all about making small changes and a 30 day challenge although is a short term challenge for us it’s a realistic one.
I’ll come back after 30 days and let you know how we got on. Abi and even my 5 year old Jess gave it a go with me.
After our plank challenge we carried on with our press up challenge which was inspired by Roman Atwood. We started with 10 press ups and add one each day. Yesterday was 21 press ups and my 2 year old Adam kept climbing underneath me having fun and causing everyone to laugh.
A little fun, laughter and exercise goes a long way to feeling good!
Why not try it for yourself? On the other hand if you are fit and healthy then I take my hat off to you!
